Item Description

An extremely sharp crystal of the rare platinum group mineral Zvyagintsevite (platinum, palladium, gold-containing!). It is complete all around, with very good metallic luster and a warm golden hue. This is a SUPERB example of this rare species, and the step in the crystal makes it truly exceptional. These crystals are presumed to be several orders of magnitude rarer than the already rare native Platinum crystals from the same area. (3.23 carats in mass). valued $1500
