Item Description

Tanzanite for some reason usually occurs in single crystals, rarely on matrix, and even more rarely in clusters. This unusual V-shaped cluster is balanced and elegant! It has a gorgeous natural blue color, about medium in the saturation spectrum for tanzanite. When lit from behind, or from the bottom, you can see a much more lavender/purple color present itself. The purple saturation is also medium - a rich lavender hue that stands out as unique, not as deep or typical as the color in some thicker crystals but also very beautiful on its own merits. The combination of elegant form and interesting color makes it a very nice display piece in the range of 5-10k, compared to what else is out there. Please note it has one contact repair at the junction of the two crystals. 58.2 grams in mass. NOTE: the light of the video is standard strip light LED. the light of the photos is LED also (photographer quality , strong). In Room Light (overhead tube lights) it looks more like the darker color in photos; but LED captures the luster better.
