Item Description
Purple zoisite is very rare from anywhere in the world, except for Tanzania where the varietal is called tanzanite. The sculptural, parallel-growth, five bladed crystal cluster has great glassy luster, is mostly gemmy, with the rest being translucent. The terminations are interestingly etched in to a myriad of tiny, sparkly blades. The termination of the large blade is broken. Complete all-around and pristine, otherwise. Very few came out apparently. A fine large, highly representative example of the rare varietal and locale. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. 102 grams mass.
