Zoisite (GEM!) (ex Obodda)

Item Description

A cool and rarely seen, very sharp, highly lustrous, WATER CLEAR, greenish color crystal of Zoisite with Calcite on matrix. The crystal is excellent quality, and measures 1.1 cm long. The piece is from the famous "Alpine"-type clefts in Pakistan, which in many ways are identical to those of the Alps in Europe, which produce very similar specimens. One of the VERY few pieces of this material in this quality that I have seen from Pakistan. VERY DIFFICULT to photograph due to the high luster, clarity and thin nature of the specimen, better in person! Ex Herb Obodda, priced at $750, and I think worth more.
