Well-crystallized zoisite and diopside combinations are rare from the Alpine-type deposits at Alchuri. This aesthetic piece is dominated by the vertical 2.9 cm, sharp, lustrous, doubly terminated dark green zoisite crystal with pretty bottle-green highlights. The sections of gemmy and lustrous, gray-green diopside crystals at the top on the bladed cleavelandite and quartz matrix are a fine compliment. This excellent and uncommon piece is very well composed and is from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
