Item Description
Znucalite is a very rare hydrated Zn-Ca-U carbonate discovered in 1989 and this Pribram mine is the Type Locality. White, earthy, partially botryoidal crusts of znucalite are scattered on the hefty oxidized blocky matrix of massive sphalerite with quartz. The znucalite fluoresces green under SW and LW UV light. There is also a red fluorescent (calcite?). Rare, rich and rarely available material from the Type Locality.
