Item Description
Cyrtolite refers to zircon with curved crystal faces. This very rich specimen is composed solidly of euhedral to subhedral, lustrous, parallel-growth, zircon crystals. The zircons are either rich, chocolate-brown or light brown and are up to 1.7 cm at the tip of the piece. Seldom will you see a cyrtolite zircon of this extreme richness from the Bancroft area. Classic and excellent material. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 1781.
