Item Description

This is a fairly hard to find faceted Zircon from the Harts Range in the Northern Territory, Australia. We've only had a handful of these beautiful stones over the years, and they are some of the most alluring examples of gem quality Zircon from anywhere. Typically the colors run from mauve to pinkish hues, sometimes with golden/orange overtones. This stone is a fantastic "Oval Brilliant" cut gem with a light peach-pink hue, and no inclusions that I can see with the naked eye. It's over a carat in weight, which would qualify it as "collector" quality, and it's durable enough for any kind of jewelry. Zircon is the traditional birthstone for December, so this stone might make a great gift for someone with a birthday in that month, and it would look beautiful in a pendant or a ring.
