Item Description

For reference, I'm copying the information that accompanies this specimen, as I'm not an expert of Maine Zircons, though I cannot begin to guess where else it could be from. It is a rather attractive piece for a Maine Zircon as it has a notably defined twin line and a pleasing reddish color. The crystal faces are fairly sharp and lustrous, though it is a bit crude in areas. There really isn't any attached matrix, but it's not really a floater either, just a loose twinned Zircon specimen that would make a good addition to a reference collection, a suite of New England minerals, or a general Zircon collection.
