Item Description

A 1.3 cm tall, textbook tetragonal-dipyramidal zircon crystal is jauntily set atop the marble matrix w/ pyroxene/amphiboles on this showy and excellent piece from a very uncommon Pakistan locale. The gorgeous gemmy reddish-orange termination highlights the adamantine lustre dark brown to nearly black crystal. Partial golden flourescence for the gemmy termination of the zircon and pink fluorescence for the marble. Ex Rob Sielecki Collection.
