Item Description
This older mining area is famous for beautiful amethyst specimens. Zircons from here are VERY RARE. This textbook, sharp, tetragonal crystal is highy lustrous, partially translucent and has mottled honey-yellow to brown color. Complete all-around and in good shape. Contacting on the sides is noted, but has negligible impact and the contact on the back is out-of-sight. Yellow fluorescence. Ex O. Ivan Lee Collection and comes with a 1950s-60s era Burminco label. Value of such rarity to the species or locality collector??
