Item Description
Brown zircon crystals and gray microcline crystals are richly and attractively clustered atop the sculptural lustrous compound aegerine crystal section on this showy two-sided small cabinet from the well-known alkali pegmatites of Mount Malosa. This is a spectacularly rich zircon for the locality! The lustrous zircon crystals reach 1.2 cm. The bit of bruising to the crystals at the top of the piece is certainly only a modest detraction to this fine combination. Colorful fluorescence with the yellow zircon and red microcline crystals.
