Zircon (fluorescent)

Item Description

Very good octahedral large single crystal of Zircon. Every mm of this 3.2 cm crystal is lustrous - including the contacted aread and the two damaged corners on the back. The edges are bevelled along the bases of the pyramidal termination, and the deep cinammon & root beer color is very attractive. It is also highly fluorescent. An aesthetic and important specimen of good size and heft for this locale. Not often will you find one this good and large - and it is an oldtimer, certainly.
