Item Description

A 1.2 cm, sharp, highly lustrous, partially translucent, reddish-brown zircon crystal is nicely set in contrasting matrix on this showy miniature from this uncommon locale. A highly representative Russian example with a bit of lower corner wear, that is out-of-sight in the primary display view. Possibly from the Vishnevye Mts, Chelyabinsk Oblast', Southern Urals, Russia. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Better in person.
