A hard to find specimen of the gorgeous ruby red Zircons from the McLaren Mine in Ontario featuring a 1.1 cm, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, prismatic Zircon crystal with a deep red color set among pinkish Calcite with blue-green Apatite and bronze colored Mica. HARD to find on the market and a very worthwhile pickup for any collector of Zircons or Canadian minerals. Ex Kay Robertson Collection. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
