For quite a few years there have been some superb color blue Zircon gems coming out of Cambodia. This stone has a light aqua blue color with nearly eye clean clarity. The cut on the stone is an "Deep Step Oval" cut. It is very difficult to obtain large, clean stones from this locality. The light just sparkles around this gem ! It's well-known that the BEST blue Zircons come from this country. Keep in mind that because of the birefringence of the material, it is not very easy to photograph, so that's the why the pictures look a bit "fuzzy".
