Zircon is found in a wide range of colors around the world. Some people might mistake these gems for cubic zirconia, which is grown in laboratories, while Zircon is 100% natural. For quite a few years there has been some superb color intense blue Zircon gems to come out of Cambodia. This stone is a soft aqua blue color with nearly eye clean clarity and a "Deep Step Oval" cut. It is very difficult to obtain large, clean stones from this locality. The light just sparkles around this gem, and it really looks better than the photos would indicate because the birefringence makes it look somewhat "fuzzy" but it's actually a very good stone ! It would look fantastic in a pendant or a ring as well.
