For quite a few years there has been some superb color intense blue Zircon gems coming out of Cambodia, which dealers and collectors alike agree are the finest gem grade blue Zircons ever found. This stone has a wonderful saturated blue color. It is nearly eye clean and looks beautiful in both sunlight and indoor lighting. It is very difficult to obtain large, clean stones from this locality, and this gem is larger than most you'll find on the market. The cut on the stone is a "Step Oval" cut. Keep in mind that because of the birefringence of the material, the pictures look a bit "fuzzy", but it looks great in person.
