Zircon is known from many world localities, but good red colored crystals are not easy to find. This piece features a sharp, lustrous, red crystal of Zircon measuring 1.3 cm on Mica/Quartz schist matrix. A fairly good quality Zircon specimen, and in decent shape overall (the termination is contacted). The piece shows beautiful fluorescence under UV light as well. One does not see many of these specimens on the market anymore these days. If you're a collector of minerals from Pakistan, this is a nice red Zircon to add to your collection.
