Zircon

For quite a few years there has been some superb color intense blue Zircon gems to come out of Cambodia. This stone is not blue, but actually nearly colorless (it has a very faint greenish-blue tinge in sunlight). It is a virtually eye clean gem which is great for the size. The cut on the stone is a "Pear" cut. It is very difficult to obtain large, clean stones from this locality. The light just sparkles around this gem! I honestly think that the BEST gem grade Zircons come from this country, but this one is really nice. Keep in mind that because of the refraction of the material, it is not very easy to photograph, so that's the why the pictures look a bit "fuzzy". Enjoy!
