Zircon occurs in a wide range of colors. This stone in person has a unique color that we can best describe as a smoky hue, similar to Smoky Quartz. This stone is only very slightly included with a "Checkerboard Oval" cut. This is a hard to find shade for Zircon, especially in a stone this size. You don't see these gems on the market very often, and typically the Sri Lankan Zircons are either green or yellow, so this is a rare color from this country.
