Zircons are found in virtually every color of the rainbow. Now don't confuse these natural stones for synthetic Cubic Zirconia, they are in no way related. For quite a few years there have been some superb color intense blue Zircon gems coming out of Cambodia. This stone has a beautiful aqua blue color with nearly eye clean clarity. The cut on the stone is a "Step Oval" cut, which is typical of most Cambodian Zircons. It is very difficult to obtain large, clean stones from Cambodia these days and it's well-known that the BEST blue Zircons come from this country. Keep in mind that because of the birefringence of the material, it is not very easy to photograph, so that's the why the pictures look a bit "fuzzy".
