Zircon gems are found in a wide range of colors. Typically, Zircons were seen in warmer hues for years with the occasional green gem every now and then, but for quite a few years there have been some superb color blue Zircons coming out of Cambodia. It's well-known that the BEST blue Zircons come from this country. This stone has a light aqua blue color with nearly eye clean clarity. The cut on the stone is an "Deep Step Oval" cut. The light just sparkles around this gem ! It is very difficult to obtain large, clean stones from this locality. Keep in mind that because of the birefringence of the material, it is not very easy to photograph, so that's the why the pictures look a bit "fuzzy".
