Zircons are fairly diverse gems, found in virtually every color of the rainbow. Some of the most valuable and sought after examples of faceted Zircon are the stones from Cambodia. The colors range from soft aqua blues to some gorgeous fiery electric cerulean hues with additional overtones. This stone has an almost metallic blue color with a slight greenish overtone, with very very slightly inclusions and a "Step Oval" cut. It is very difficult to obtain large, clean stones from this locality these days, they definitely seem less common on the market than years ago. The light just sparkles around this gem, and it really looks better than the photos would indicate because the birefringence makes it look somewhat "fuzzy" but it's better in person.
