Item Description
Zinnwaldite, considered today to be a member of the Mica Group, was first discovered and originally described here at Zinnwald. This is a fine example, with the matrix densely covered by 1 cm blades. Intermingled among the Zinnwaldite are several iron oxide coated Quartz crystals, also to 1 cm. These pieces are part of a century-old Italian collection that was recently acquired. Rarely seen old material from this classic locale!
