Item Description

Zinkenite is an uncommon lead, antimony sulfosalt. A superb diverging cluster of splendent zinkenite needles rests on a bed of lustrous, light brown siderite rhombs. Glassy, colorless calcite rhombs are seen deep in the vug. This is an outstanding, very rich and very uncommon combination thumbnail from this famous French locale. The zinkenite is actually a thick vuggy vein sandwiched between siderite. Ex Marty Lewadny Collection.
