Splendent, jackstraw radiating sprays of silver-metallic zinkenite blades nearly engulf the pillar of sparkly drusy quartz on this excellent and showy combination miniature from the historic Type Locality for zincenite - the Graf Jost-Christian Mine in the Harz Mountains. Zinkenite is a fairly uncommon Pb-Sb sulfosalt. This is an ancient antimony mine, started around 1700. Old-time specimens of this combination quality are seldom on the market.
