Zincite with Hodgkinsonite (ex Pat Gross and Rich Kosnar Collections)

Item Description

A nice association specimen featuring small, reddish spots of Zincite which are sitting on pinkish color Hodgkinsonite matrix. This is one of the few specimens of Zincite with Hodgkinsonite that I we've offered from Franklin. I have photographed the small crystals under the microscope to better illustrate them. The piece comes from the famous New Jersey collection of Richard Kosnar, who obtained the specimen from noted collector Pat Gross in the early 1990s. The piece is still sitting in Pat's original clear plastic micro mounting box with her hand written label on the base.
