Item Description
Gemmy, cherry-red zincite crystals are scattered in a dense covering of rust-red zincite on this rich combination specimen from the famous Sterling Hill Mine of New Jersey. Classic and desirable material from this famed locality, probably dating to the early to mid 1900s. The matrix includes franklinite, calcite and willemite (both fluorescent). This is a very rich example of zincite from the Co-Type Locality.
