Item Description

Although SYNTHETIC, this is a dramatic specimen of Zincite, with sparkling, glassy, and gemmy reddish-orange crystals reaching up to 2 cm in length. The original Zincites from Silesia were formed in mine fires and were not natural. Now synthetic Zincite like this is grown for decorative use and collectibles as they are so beautiful. Nice, variable fluorescence. Weighs 170 grams.
