Item Description

A colorful, very rich and excellent combination zinc ore specimen from famed Sterling Hill. Lustrous, translucent, cherry-red zincite microcrytals comprise most of the piece. Richly peppered, metallic franklinite octahedrons, a bit of fluorescent green willemite and off-white calcite make up the rest of the piece. Classic and excellent Sterling Hill zincite from the Dick Hauck Collection, one of the mine owners. Hefty ore material.
