Item Description
Famous for its fluorescent minerals, this classic combination from Franklin, NJ is a bit more rare. The piece is rich with bands and pods of cleaved, orange-red zincite crystals and massive franklinite with country rock. There is zincite on every side of the specimen, with some crystals up to 1.5 cm. The faces have excellent luster. Spots of fluorescent green willemite are noted on one face. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. An excellent old classic from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
