Item Description

Zektzerite is a very rare complex lithium silicate and is the member of the Tuhualite Group. Washington Pass is the Type Locality of this rarity, discovered in 1976. This fine and showy combination thumbnail hosts two, well-placed, tannish-pink, translucent, orthorhombic, zektzerite crystals to 6 mm aesthetically complimented by a 6 mm, contrasting, terminated, riebeckite crystal on mounded feldspar crystal matrix. Such combination specimens are uncommon from this locale and this is an excellent example. Ex Will Henderson Collection. valued $400
