Item Description

A 1.3 x 1.0 x 0.5 cm, sharp, pastel-pink, terminated, tabular, orthorhombic crystal with frosted faces is elegantly set on microcline crystal matrix with starkly contrasting black arfvedsonite crystals (a sodium amphibole). Washington Pass is the Type Locality for this very rare Li-Na-Zr-REE silicate. Blue fluorescence. These were collected over 40 years ago and are almost nonexistent on the market. Pristine. Valued at $750.
