Zanazziite with Eosphorite on Quartz (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This is a superb specimen of a rare phosphate from a world-famous locality. Zanazziite is a Hydrated Calcium Magnesium Iron Aluminum Beryllium Phosphate. This piece hosts translucent, olive-green crystal groups of the rare phosphate Zanazziite which are associated with brownish crystals of Eosphorite sitting on a doubly-terminated, gemmy and rather lustrous Quartz crystal. The quality of the Quartz is really good along with the bonus of having a couple rare phosphates sitting on it. Ex Richard Kosnar collection, mined in the mid 1970s.
