Zanazziite with Eosphorite (ex Rolando Gioia Collection)

Item Description

This is a wonderful specimen featuring a rare phosphate from a world-famous locality. Zanazziite is a hydrated calcium magnesium iron aluminum beryllium phosphate, and some of the finest examples are found in Brazil. This piece hosts olive-green radial groups of the rare phosphate Zanazziite which are sitting on a "spray" of brownish crystals of Eosphorite. The largest Eosphorite crystal measures 1.1 cm long, and the piece looks beautiful up close.
