Item Description
Zanazziite is a rare calcium magnesium beryllium phosphate, and the best examples are found in various pegmatite localities in Brazil. This piece is from a discovery in 2010 and features a VERY rich coverage of soft olive-green to golden colored aggregates of Zanazziite coating prismatic crystals of Elbaite Tourmaline on white Albite matrix. Most specimens of Zanazziite feature small isolated groups, but to find such a saturation of the species on a single specimen like this is significant.
