Yugawaralite with Goosecreekite (rare)

A fine quality specimen featuring excellent, vitreous, beautiful white bladed crystals of the rare zeolite Yugawaralite measuring up to 1.8 cm associated with semi-spherical groups of another rare zeolite, Goosecreekite, in a vug on basalt matrix. Both the Yugawaralite and Goosecreekite crystals have excellent luster and form, and despite a contact on one side, this a still a great superb example of this rare material. Despite all the tonnes of Indian zeolites mined, these are few and far between, and considered extremely rare. The best Yugawaralite specimen in the world are found in India. From the collection of Vasco Trancoso, a medical doctor and prominent mineral collector from near Lisbon, Portugal (https://www.mindat.org/user-11954.html).
