Item Description

Charming, highly lustrous, translucent to transparent, glistening colorless Yugawaralite crystals sitting on a bed of tiny sparkling clear Quartz crystals. Yugawaralite is a very rare member of the zeolite group of minerals. These monoclinic crystals grew sub-parallel forming a narrow mini-fan with the largest crystal at 2.4 cm tall. The individual glassy crystals are difficult to distinguish until the light reflects off the terminated edges. A number of the edges are transparent. While the main crystal termination is unfortunately contacted, the remaining Yugawaralite are complete all around. An excellent matrix specimen with a 360 display of the seldom seen Yugawaralite mineral. Very rarely seen for sale!
