Yugawaralite ex Mushlitz Coll

Yugawaralite is a very rare member of the Zeolite Group of minerals. This happens to be a cluster of exceptionally large, gemmy, window pane-type bladed crystals. The largest crystal measures 1.5 cm in length and there are at least a dozen glassy crystals that comprise this group. This piece originates from a small find from around the year 2000 (which we handled at the time), from the Zeolite-rich Deccan basalt traps of India. Despite producing tonnages of other species, there have only been a few small pockets of this very rare species. Yugawaralite is a hydrated calcium-aluminum silicate. Ex. R. D. Mushlitz collection with label. A superb example of this very rare Indian species, that produced the best in the world. THis is an important rarity, and should be valued over $1000.
