Yellow Fluorite (2006 find)

Item Description

A fine CABINET fluorite plate from the limited 2006 finds in Henan Province, China. Intergrown, sharp fluorite cubes in strange, intergrown knobs on a matrix which is solid purple fluorite comprise this unusual piece. The translucent fluorites are brown to yellow, when front-lit, but glow golden-amber when back-lit. Very showy.
