Item Description
A superb and aesthetic baryte on quartz miniature from 2000s finds at the Xiefang Mine. A 4.6 cm, pretty golden-yellow, parallel-growth, gemmy to translucent, doubly terminated baryte crystal is artistically set on the angled face of the triangular drusy quartz matrix. Essentially pristine, with only the slightest contact to one of the backside lower termination edges. This exceptional combination has outstanding 360-degree viewability, as the base has been sawed for perfect upright display. Ex. Ken Roberts China Collection and valued by him at $1250 over 3 years ago. A singular and famous baryte and quartz combination from the locale, now a classic.
