Highly lustrous, sharply terminated, tetragonal chocolate-brown xenotime-(Y) crystals in parallel-growth form a shapely and excellent 360-degree thumbnail from the well-known 2008 find. Xenotime-(Y), a REE phosphate, is isostructural with zircon. All sides are embedded with brilliant golden rutile needles. One crystal has a broken termination, but is out-of-sight on the primary display views. A choice example of the species and find.
