Item Description

Novo Horizonte is well-known for its wonderful Hematite/Rutile specimens, but this area has also produced fine quality and large crystals of Xenotime-(Y). This piece is a wonderful, sharp, lustrous, rich reddish-brown, prismatic Xenotime-(Y) crystal, free of matrix. Keep in mind that most examples of the species are measured in mm, so to find a crystal that measures over 1 inch is significant.
