Wurtzite with Sphalerite (ex Matioli Collection)

Item Description

This is an excellent small cabinet display specimen of Wurtzite and its closely related dimorph, Sphalerite from the lesser known Pcheloyad Mine. The piece shows hexagonal micro crystals of Wurtzite with minor associated Sphalerite plus modified cubic Galena and minor golden Pyrite. A really attractive overall specimen, and frankly, it's the only piece of Wurtzite I've had to offer from this locality. Ex Paolo Matioli collection.
