Item Description

Wurtzite is a relatively uncommon zinc, iron sulfosalt. It usually occurs as massive ore or a banded, botryoidal crusts. It is rare as displayed in the relatively sharp, hexagonal, stacked, tabular crystals on this richly mounded miniature. The flashy lustrous, metallic-gray crystals look great great from both sides and the top! This classic and excellent old-timer, dating to the 1960s or 70s, is from the famous Siglo XX Mine of Bolivia. valued $500
