Item Description

As Wurtzites go, this is an appealing specimen. This cabinet piece consists of lustrous, chocolate brown, micro-crystallized Wurtzite in large bladelike aggregates. This Wurtzite nestles between the bright, silvery Galena crystals on the sulfide matrix. The Galena has a 'melted' look to it, and it seems to be partially foliated, which adds great interest mineralogically and visually. These specimens probably came out around 2002, and I only saw a few of them.
