Item Description

This highly unusual, glowing orange thumbnail specimen is a great wulfenite already, just for eye appeal. But look closer and you see an unusual association, of small red vanadinite at its base! An old, possibly unique specimen with shocking aesthetics and display quality - it is really meaty, colorful, and interesting at the same time. It is perched on just enough matrix to say it is a full matrix specimen, not a single. The small bits of white specks you see atop are actually little tiny crystallized balls of either aragonite or calcite, for a further accent. From the award-winning thumbnail collection of Sharon and William Panczner, author of the book Minerals Of Mexico, and last seen and exhibited in the 1960s and recently rediscovered. A fine, rare thumbnail specimen.
