Item Description

Beautiful butterscotch colored, fairly thick tabular crystals of Wulfenite (similar to those from Los Lomentos, Mexico) with sharp faces and good luster are coated by sparkling, marble white Smithsonite crystals. This is the only piece of Wulfenite that I've seen from this mine with associated Smithsonite. Hard to find on the market today, and certainly good quality compared to many inferior pieces I've seen on the market. From the collection of Colorad geologist, Allen V. Heyl, for whom the species Aheylite was named.
