Wulfenite with rare Bipyramidal crystals

Increasingly rare and highly desirable bipyramidal Wulfenite from old finds at the famous Los Lamentos Mine in Mexico. The piece is festooned with over a hundred interconnected crystals having individual crystals up to 1.8 cm long and numerous crystals being double terminated. The Wulfenites are lustrous, orange to brown in color and fairly well defined. There are a few damaged crystals with the majority in excellent condition. The heavy piece weighs in at 325 grams. These bipyramidal Wulfenites were found in the 1950-60s and are very difficult to find in today’s market.
